Converge Events is proud to announce that Elizabeth Osborne, Chief Operations Officer at Great Lakes Credit Union, will serve as a Peer-to-Peer Moderator at the 2026 CU Growth & Innovation Summit, held February 9–11 in Oak Brook, IL.

A respected voice in credit union operations and IT leadership, Elizabeth has been recognized by American Banker as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions” for both 2023 and 2024. As COO at GLCU, she leads critical functions including Technology, Digital, Deposit Operations, Product Management, and the Project Management Office. Her ability to align strategy with execution, coupled with a passion for data-driven innovation, positions her as a dynamic leader in the industry.

Elizabeth will moderate a key peer-driven session titled “The Rise of CU M&A: Collaboration, Consolidation, and Culture Fit.” This session will engage credit union executives in candid conversations about the growing trend of mergers and acquisitions as a strategic growth tool. Attendees will examine how to evaluate cultural alignment, manage leadership transitions, and protect member trust during periods of change.

Elizabeth brings more than deep expertise; she brings the credibility of someone who has successfully led both operational and technological transformation in high-stakes environments. Her academic background includes an MBA in Finance from Endicott College, a BS in Leadership from Northeastern University, and a DEI Certificate from Cornell University.
