Josh Rodriguez has spent more than two decades working across credit union operations, technology, and executive leadership, with a particular focus on connecting financial services to the people and communities they serve. He will bring that experience to the 2027 CU Growth & Innovation Summit as a panelist discussing how credit unions can strengthen member relationships while driving growth and loyalty.
Josh serves as Assistant Vice President of Fintech and Mission Integration at West Community Credit Union, where he leads fintech partnerships and mission-driven storytelling initiatives. His work brings together technology, member engagement, and the credit union mission, with an emphasis on creating stronger connections between financial institutions and their communities.
Before joining West Community Credit Union, Josh served as President and CEO of Missouri Valley Federal Credit Union for 11 years. His experience leading a credit union, combined with his current work in fintech partnerships, gives him perspective on both the operational demands of running an institution and the opportunities technology creates to improve the member experience.
Josh also hosts and produces The Banking on You Podcast, where he combines his interest in audio production with a commitment to sharing real member stories and highlighting the importance of community connections.
We are pleased to welcome Josh to the CU Growth & Innovation Summit speaker lineup. His background in credit union leadership, fintech, and member-focused storytelling is particularly relevant to the conversations surrounding member engagement and sustainable growth.
At the summit, Josh will participate in the panel discussion, “Designing Member Experiences That Drive Growth and Loyalty.”
The session will explore how credit unions are using member experience as a strategy for strengthening relationships, improving retention, and supporting long-term growth. Panelists will discuss approaches that are working across digital channels, branch experiences, and personalized member engagement.
As credit unions continue investing in technology and new service capabilities, the challenge is connecting those improvements to meaningful outcomes for members and the institution. The panel will examine how leaders are evaluating member experience initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve service while supporting measurable business results.
Josh’s experience leading a credit union and developing fintech partnerships will contribute a practical perspective to the discussion. His work highlighting member stories also brings an understanding of how personal connections and institutional purpose can influence the member experience.
We look forward to welcoming Josh Rodriguez to the 2027 CU Growth & Innovation Summit and hearing his perspective alongside other credit union leaders.
