Dylan Braun to Explore Loan Participation and Liquidity Strategy at CU Growth & Innovation Summit

Dylan Braun, Senior Vice President and Director of Commercial Lending at TruStone Financial Credit Union, joins the CU Growth & Innovation Summit as a keynote panelist on liquidity strategy and loan growth.

Balancing liquidity with the need to grow loan portfolios remains an important strategic consideration for credit unions. Dylan Braun, Senior Vice President and Director of Commercial Lending at TruStone Financial Credit Union, will bring his commercial lending experience to this conversation as a panelist at the CU Growth & Innovation Summit.

Dylan is a senior commercial lending executive with more than a decade of experience in the field. At TruStone Financial Credit Union, he leads commercial originations, underwriting, servicing, and portfolio management. He also serves as a voting member of the Commercial Credit Committee and ALCO, giving him direct experience with the lending and balance sheet decisions that will be central to the discussion.

The CU Growth & Innovation Summit is pleased to welcome Dylan as a panelist for the “Keynote Panel Discussion: Liquidity Strategy in 2027: Using Loan Participation to Unlock Growth.”

The session will examine how credit unions can manage liquidity while continuing to pursue loan growth. Dylan and his fellow panelists will discuss the role of loan participation, balance sheet strategy, and capital allocation in supporting growth while maintaining an appropriate approach to risk.

Dylan’s experience overseeing multiple areas of commercial lending brings a practical perspective to the panel. His responsibilities across originations, underwriting, servicing, and portfolio management provide insight into how lending strategy connects with broader considerations around liquidity, capital, and organizational growth.

In addition to his professional experience, Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. Cloud State University and is completing the CUES CEO Institute with a focus on strategic leadership and organizational excellence.

As credit unions evaluate how to deploy capital, manage liquidity, and pursue lending opportunities in 2027, Dylan’s perspective will contribute to a practical conversation about finding the right balance between growth and risk.
